“Albania +100 Fshatrat” by Jacopo Bardi
The project takes its name from the “+100 Fshatrat” (100 Villages) initiative promoted by the Albanian National Agency for Territory Planning; the initiative aims to achieve the sustainable economic and cultural revitalization of over 100 small villages that are significant to local history and the landscape.
Riciclabili, in collaboration with Kicking Donkey, proposed a partnership involving an exploratory bicycle journey connecting these villages, with the goal of developing the potential of slow travel and sustainable tourism.
This initial phase of the project took them to explore southern Albania, and it was during this specific trip that our new panniers—now available for purchase—were put to the test.
